Walker Art Center releases its Idea Hub

Walker Director Olga Viso announcing the new Idea Hub

This week the Walker Art Center launched its new site, promoted as an Idea Hub. Walker director Olga Viso explains the name as such:  “As the Walker’s name signals, we’re a center: a hub that brings together various pursuits related to contemporary art, from presenting the visual, performing, and media arts of our time to publishing the latest scholarly research; collecting art objects and commissioning new works to hosting artist residencies and convening public discussions about art and ideas.”

The attractively-designed website combines information, announcements and special content from the museum with news compiled from international sources and streamlined for easy reading. It also serves as an umbrella to blogs for design, education and the performing arts and programs like New Media Initiatives.

Helpful and comprehensive, the Idea Hub is a welcome resource for navigating the contemporary art world. Baibakov Art Projects extends its gratitude and congratulations!
